Siemens Real Estate provide corporate real estate management for Siemens. We manage the portfolio, optimize space utilization, oversee operation of our real estate, including all real estate related services, are responsible for letting and sales, and implement all of Siemens' construction projects. Our aim is always to support the strategy of the company and its businesses as best we can, thus creating long-term value. Part of these services are available to other companies.
We are looking for a Finance Controller to partner our Property Management team providing commercial support for day-to-day operations. You will play a critical role in driving financial performance, providing strategic insights, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
This is a hybrid role, based from our The Hague office with a combination of home and office working. You will be involved 80% for Netherlands activities and 20% for support to Nordics countries, mainly Norway and Denmark. There are 7 colleagues from SRE working in the Netherlands, 3 are also part of your team supporting countries mentioned above.
You’ll create impact by:
- Prepare forecast, budget and actual analysis, including risks & opportunities on location-level and cost center (REM)
- Complete monthly/quarterly/yearly closing activities (e.g. accruals, billings, cost allocations, provisions), ensuring accurate and timely financials
- Drive continuous improvement of real estate costs in office and industrial locations in order to increase and optimize the respective real estate performance (e.g. IBIT optimization measures, support for service group control and monitoring).
- Support with commercial and customer-related questions (e.g. Lease In/Out process, calculation of refinancing elements), including location concept/I-application topics,
- Support the Regional Commercial Manager in determining provisions, impairments, termination payments and price calculations.
- Perform the annual settlement with tenants in alignment with the Property Manager.
- Perform customer meetings and presentation
- Provide support to meet demands from Auditors and Risk and Internal Control (RIC)
- Support to Nordics countries, mainly Norway and Denmark = 20%
