The Ambitious Group is an international Sales and Recruitment organization, established in 2007 and since then a highly successful and growing company in employment mediation, with offices throughout the Netherlands and active in six different countries. Our headquarters, located in Amsterdam (De Pijp), is looking for a Financial Employee.

As part of our headquarters Finance team, the Financial Employee maintains frequent (telephone) contact with debtors in the Netherlands, Belgium, or Germany and is responsible for part of the financial and payroll administration.

Your responsibilities include (among others):

  • Debtor Management: Following up on outstanding invoices and maintaining contact with clients.
  • Payroll: Processing payroll administration and ensuring error-free handling.
  • Creditor Management: Managing incoming invoices and ensuring timely payments.
  • Support Tasks: Various administrative duties within the Finance team.

 

The perfect fit

 

  • You are communicatively strong and not afraid to pick up the phone.
  • You speak at least two of the following three languages fluently: Dutch, English, German.
  • You have at least an MBO-level education in a financial or administrative field.
  • Experience in debtor or creditor management, or payroll processing, is a plus.
As you can see, the Financial Employee is also a bit of an administrative jack-of-all-trades! The role is broad, varied, and combines financial and administrative tasks. If you have plenty of experience, you’ll pick it up quickly. And if you have little or no experience, we’ll help you become a master at it.

Our work location, in the heart of Amsterdam, is fantastic – you’ll enjoy coming here. It’s good to note that we’ll cover your public transport costs, but coming by car is virtually impossible (so what? You’re only allowed to drive 30 km/h anyway).
