We've got a great job opening at one of our TOP clients in south of the Netherlands (Limburg area). We are searching for a German speaking purchasing assistant.
The Purchasing Assistant handles Purchase Requests and assure that requests are correct, complete, properly approved. Create, send and follow up Purchase Order to vendors. This role is mainly operational, vendor negotiation is limited. It will be a great opportunity to develop youself as a (finance/procurement) professional within an international company.
In the job you will be responsible for
Review purchase requests on correctness and completeness
Assure purchase requests are being approved in line with the relevant authorizaion policies
Process purchase requests, create purchase orders and send these to suppliers & requesters
Create Purchase orders and encure contract compliance in adhrence to Category Strategy and Preferred Vendor List
Tracking and understanding root source/cause all open purchase orders
Follow up on open purchase orders with suppliers regarding invoicing activity Monitoring and controlling supplier performance
Support invoicing issue resolution
Improvement initiatives to bank further savings and/or efficiencies
Adherence to Company Policies, Procurement and Quality Standard Operating Procedures and Work instructions.
Supports requestioners and gives guidance on all operational procurement decisions
2-3 years of relevant experience in procure-to-pay or accounts payable is a great plus
At least you have experience in or with a shared service environment
Your fluent in English and German, French is an advantage.
